This morning, in the splendid setting of the Stadium of Laterza, is held the second edition of "Youth Games" organized by CONI, as last year, closed the sporting activities of our Institute.
The event was attended by school children: Dante, Michelangelo Laterza; ICS "Surico" Castellaneta, "Bettolo" Taranto, "Castriota" San Marzano and "Deledda" Ginosa, accompanied by their teachers, for a total of 16 classes and about 250 students, in the presence of Vice-President of the CONI Mr. Taranto. Barisciano Umberto and the president of FIDAL Mr. Taranto. Imperio Gianfranco
the children were compared in races, throws, jumps and trails of dexterity. The peculiarity of these games is the "No one is excluded" that the whole class should perform the tests prescribed and then gets an average between the results obtained do to ensure that everyone can contribute according to their abilities.
For our Institute participated in classes 1 ^, 2 ^ 3 ^ A and who braved the same age of other schools. Pupils were distributed various gadgets: diplomas, leaflets on the importance of physical activity and a towel to his head.
The day full of sports, did not have no winners or losers, but it was an opportunity to socialize with peers in other common measure in healthy activities and fun.
today and finished the year with a busy and rewarding sport for secondary school students in September will end up with the same enthusiasm and the same desire to give as a gift other satisfactions.
