ICS "Filippo Surico" he said at the primary school complex "Parco Valentino" the activities of projects financed by the European Union under the National Operational Programme, Action C1 , with an exhibition of works made by students participating. The exhibition was staged by the same guys who have attended the workshops, together with the teachers (experts and tutors) who have worked so that all the work done in various laboratories was highly visible to visitors. During the course of the event some works have been submitted by the students themselves, who have admitted that he enjoyed acquiring new knowledge. In particular, the protagonists of the course of science, mathematics, the teachers involved have demonstrated the skills acquired, speaking during the presentation of workshops
The projects, curated by the School Director Dr. Anthony Ludovico, from teachers PV Minei, R. Donvito and the DSGA Antonicelli Pasquale, approved in January this year, were launched in late March and involved approximately 160 students as well as teachers of primary, secondary, and the intervention of some outside experts. The performance of the work has required great efforts by all but the activities were completed successfully and the students were enthusiastic having participated. All projects were primarily intended to further improve the educational offer of the school. These courses took place in school hours, in some cases tend to recover any inconvenience on the part of pupils, but in others, aim to promote excellence for the most deserving students. Precisely for this reason, the achievement of the objectives was constantly monitored during the course. Certainly a pleasant surprise was the high percentage of daily attendance all the way to confirm that the road taken, although hard and tiring, it was the right one. If we consider that it was the first time that the ICS "F: Surico" participated projects financed by the European Union means that everyone has spent great energy with excellent results. E 'duty to thank the teachers for their cooperation. But the biggest applause goes to the students, the real protagonists of the projects, which have had a real and active, showing that the afternoon activities for families are also welcome, if done nicely. The positive participation and the large number of accessions to the courses this year, has prompted Dr. Antonio Ludovico together with the teachers to propose new projects and to initiate the procedure already in these days to access funds from the new Integrated Plan 2009/2010 and 2010/2011.
