Famous painter and illustrator of children's books , was born in 1932 in Prague where he attended the School of Cinematic Arts, specializing in animated films. In 1959, with a daring escape, leaving his country and arrived in Italy at the refugee camp in Trieste. At year end, he enrolled in the Faculty of Painting Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. In 1963 he moved to Monaco where, at the Kunst Akademie, continued his studies on the set and costume drama. From 1965 to 1968 heads to the London section of the animated film of the Richard Williams Studio. He settled finally in the Sàrmede Rugolo, where he continues his activities painter and illustrator of children's books.
